Order Fulfillment Policy

 At Double Diamond Farms, all orders placed for hatching eggs and chicks are considered preorders. Because we work with live animals and natural laying cycles, fulfillment follows the rhythm of the flock.

 Preorder Structure

 Orders are fulfilled in the order they are received. Placing an order secures your position in the queue, not an immediate ship date.

Availability depends on flock production, fertility rates, hatch timing, and seasonal conditions.

 Advance Notice

Customers will receive email notification approximately one week before their order is scheduled for fulfillment. This notice serves as preparation for shipment or local pickup.

Please ensure your email address at checkout is accurate and actively monitored. 

48-Hour Confirmation Requirement

 A response confirming readiness for shipment or pickup is required within 48 hours of notification.

Because hatching eggs and chicks are time-sensitive, we cannot hold them beyond their scheduled fulfillment window. If confirmation is not received within 48 hours, your order may be moved to the next available date in order to maintain animal welfare and protect the timing of other customers’ orders.

Time-Sensitive & Delicate Shipments

Hatching eggs and live chicks are fragile and highly time sensitive. Shipping dates are carefully selected to give them the best possible start.

Orders will not ship without customer confirmation. Double Diamond Farms is not responsible for delays or viability impacts resulting from missed confirmation windows.
