The Verdant Clutch

The Verdant Clutch is a curated mix designed to explore and develop green and olive egg color, while still embracing the natural variation that comes with green egg genetics.

This clutch includes pairings of green, blue, and brown egg layers crossed with either homozygous blue egg roosters or dark brown egg roosters. Because of this, chicks from the Verdant Clutch may mature into green, olive, avocado, mossy, or brown egg layers. 

Green egg color is not guaranteed. Some chicks—especially those from green layers crossed back to dark brown roosters—can lay brown eggs instead of green. Shade and depth will vary widely, ranging from soft sage and olive tones to deeper greens or browns.
